Flexible sales analysis for German utility group
InfoZoom enhances SAP IS-U and SAP BW with fast data analysis
Bonn, Germany. 29 April 2013 – Vereinigte Stadtwerke GmbH, a group of three German utility companies, has implemented InfoZoom to extend its existing SAP environment with easy-to-use analytic software for business users. As a result, sales professionals can easily analyze data on their own and directly answer the various questions that arise in day-to-day business.
Although SAP IS-U and SAP BW provides Vereinigte Stadtwerke GmbH optimal support for its operational processes and reporting, the sales department required more current and agile analyses. The utility company, therefore, deployed InfoZoom to extend the standard functionality in SAP BW and increase the value of its SAP landscape through more efficient, flexible and timely analytics. Vereinigte Stadtwerke primarily uses the tool for sales analysis, for example, to evaluate CRM data as the basis for targeted marketing campaigns. It also uses InfoZoom to create monitoring reports for the German Federal Network Agency and analyze network fees or meters.
